Laser therapy, also called photobiomodulation or low-level laser therapy, uses light at set wavelengths on the area being treated. At BFLL it is part of a physiotherapy or Pain Lab plan, decided after a physiotherapist assessment, and given only at our Naktala and Salt Lake clinics, never at home.
Safety
- Protective eyewear is used in every session.
- Laser is not applied over the thyroid, in pregnancy, over a suspected malignancy, or while you take photosensitising medicines. Tell the physiotherapist about every medicine you take.
How it starts
Your first visit starts with the Physiotherapist Initial and Baseline Assessment (Rs 300), charged once per patient for life and waived for community members. The Rs 1,000 Holistic Health Consultation is optional here, only if you ask for it.
