PATHOLOGY AND DIAGNOSTIC
TESTS FAQ
Yes. BFLL facilitates diagnostic pathology tests through Healthian India’s No.1 Health-tech brand. BFLL acts as the facilitator and coordinator. Reports are then interpreted by the HHC in the context of functional reference ranges, not just standard lab flags, which is a significant difference from a routine lab visit.
The tests recommended depend entirely on the patient's condition and the HHC's clinical assessment. A standard BFLL baseline panel typically includes a complete blood count, fasting glucose and HbA1c, lipid profile, liver function tests, kidney function markers, thyroid profile, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, iron studies, inflammatory markers such as hs CRP and ESR, and hormonal panels where indicated. The specific panel is determined after the First Assessment.
After your HHC First Assessment, the HHC will advise which tests are required. The front desk coordinates the test booking with the certified lab. You will be informed of the collection schedule and the expected turnaround time for reports.
For tests involving Insulin fasting, fasting glucose, lipid profile, and certain hormonal panels, fasting is required, typically for 10 to 12 hours before the sample is taken. The front desk will inform you of any specific preparation requirements when booking is confirmed.
Standard blood panels typically return within 24 to 48 hours. Some specialised tests may take longer. The front desk will confirm the expected timeline at the time of booking.
Yes. This is one of the core functions of the HHC at BFLL. Reports are interpreted in the context of functional medicine reference ranges, your specific condition, your current programme, and the overall metabolic picture. This interpretation directly shapes your nutrition plan, exercise prescription, and any physician referral decisions.
Yes. If you have recent reports from your own lab, bring them to your First Assessment. However, BFLL works with Healthians India’s No.1 Health-Tech brand whose panels are structured to capture the specific markers the HHC needs. If your existing reports are missing key markers or are older than three months, the HHC may recommend a fresh panel.
Once reports are available, the HHC reviews them and integrates the findings into your clinical plan. If you are already enrolled, your nutrition plan or exercise prescription may be updated. In cases where reports reveal a condition requiring specialist intervention, the HHC will direct you to the appropriate physician.
Test costs depend on the specific panel recommended. BFLL facilitates tests through certified labs at standard rates. The cost will be communicated clearly before confirmation. The starting point is always the HHC First Assessment. Shall I help you book a slot between 3 PM and 7 PM?
