Dry needling is a physiotherapy technique in which thin needles are placed into specific points in a muscle. At BFLL it is used only as part of a clinic physiotherapy plan at Naktala or Salt Lake, after a physiotherapist assessment, and only with your consent. Electro dry needling adds a mild electrical current through the needles.
How it starts
Your first visit starts with the Physiotherapist Initial and Baseline Assessment (Rs 300), charged once per patient for life and waived for community members. The Rs 1,000 Holistic Health Consultation is optional here, only if you ask for it. The physiotherapist explains whether needling suits your condition before anything is done.

Before your session
- Tell the physiotherapist about every medical condition and medicine, especially blood thinners, a bleeding disorder, diabetes, pregnancy, a pacemaker (for electro dry needling) or a fear of needles.
- You can ask to stop at any time.
- Dry needling is given at the clinic only.
